Step 1: Your Vision. Our Conversation.


Every great story starts with a conversation. When you reach out to us, we take the time to understand your vision—what inspires you, where the art will live, and the feeling you want it to evoke.


After our chat, we’ll send you our Style Guide, a curated collection of styles unique to DonCarlos. This guide showcases the five styles we specialize in, each offering its own visual and emotional impact. You’ll have the freedom to explore and choose the one that speaks to you. If you have something custom in mind beyond our guide, we can also discuss how to bring that idea to life.



Step 2: Consultation & Assessment.


Once you’ve reviewed the Style Guide and are ready to move forward, we begin the consultation phase. This is where we gather key details about your needs, including:


Style: Based on the Style Guide or custom ideas.

Colors: Your preferred color palette to match your vision and space.

Size & Shape: Custom dimensions starting at 24” x 24”.

Additional Accommodations: Any other specifications you’d like incorporated into the piece.


This ensures that we fully understand your needs before moving forward.



Step 3: Reserve Your Artwork.


Once the consultation is complete and all your preferences are collected, a $1,000 deposit secures your spot in our schedule. This non-refundable deposit covers the initial design work and ensures we can dedicate the time and resources to your custom piece. The deposit is credited toward your final cost.



Step 4: A Proposal Just for You.


Your proposal will be a detailed preview of your artwork, designed to ensure that every aspect aligns with your vision. It will include:


3D Preview: A stunning digital rendering that gives you a true sense of what the finished piece will look like.

Color Palette: A carefully selected color scheme, customized to your vision and the space where the artwork will be displayed.

Canvas Size & Shape: Choose from a range of custom sizes, starting at 24” x 24”, and shapes such as round, square, or rectangular.

Upfront Pricing: A clear breakdown of the total cost, starting at $5,000, with no hidden fees. Shipping is included in the total price.


You will receive your proposal within 5-7 business days after placing your deposit.



Step 5: Review & Customization.


Before we begin production, you have the opportunity to review the proposal in detail. If any changes are needed—whether it’s to the color palette, size, or other elements—we’ll make adjustments until it’s exactly what you envision.


Once you approve the proposal, full payment is required to move forward. This covers everything: the artwork itself, materials, and shipping. Your deposit will be credited toward the total.



Step 6: The Creation Process.


With your approval and full payment, we begin creating your custom piece. Every brushstroke, every detail is completed with precision and care. Depending on the complexity of the artwork, timelines range from 1 to 3 months. Here’s what to expect:


Regular Updates: You’ll receive progress updates, including photos and videos, so you can see your artwork come to life in real-time.

Scheduled Touchpoints: We’ll check in with you periodically to ensure everything is on track and answer any questions you may have.



Step 7: Final Approval.


Before shipping, we’ll send you a final preview of the completed piece. This gives you one last chance to review the artwork and ensure it meets your expectations.


Once you’re satisfied, we’ll arrange shipping.



Step 8: Effortless Delivery.


When your artwork is ready, we handle everything:


Carefully Shipped: Your artwork is packaged securely and shipped fully insured, so it arrives just as perfect as it left.

All-Inclusive Pricing: Shipping is included in your total payment. No additional costs or surprises.

International Shipping: We ship worldwide. For international orders, any applicable customs fees or duties will be the responsibility of the client.


Need framing? We offer a range of framing options for an additional fee. Just ask, and we’ll ensure your piece is framed to perfection.



Step 9: Unveiling Your Masterpiece.


Once your artwork arrives, we’ll follow up with you to make sure everything is exactly as you envisioned. From the first idea to the final piece on your wall, we’re with you every step of the way.


Cancellations & Refunds


The initial $1,000 deposit is non-refundable. Once the full payment has been made and the creation process begins, we cannot offer refunds. However, we work closely with you throughout the entire process to ensure you’re fully satisfied with the final result before shipping.

While the artwork is yours to enjoy, DonCarlos retains the right to feature your piece in future projects, exhibitions, and promotions—ensuring that your custom artwork becomes part of something bigger.
