Work With DonCarlos Studio
We collaborate with individuals, brands, and organizations on a limited number of creative projects each year.
Our work prioritizes clarity, craft, and long-term value over volume. This page outlines how to engage the studio and whether working together is the right fit.
Who This Is For
This page is for you if:
You have a clear idea, goal, or problem you’re looking to solve
You value process, communication, and thoughtful execution
You’re prepared to commit time and budget to the work
You’re looking for a studio partner, not speculative exploration
This may not be the right fit if:
You’re still casually exploring ideas
You’re seeking immediate turnaround or open-ended revisions
You’re unsure whether you want to move forward
We aim to be respectful of everyone’s time — including our own.
Ways to Work With the Studio
We currently work across three project categories. Availability and scope vary by category.
Design Projects
Visual systems, illustration, branding, packaging, and creative direction for brands and organizations with a defined objective.
Design projects are our primary focus and receive priority consideration.
Smiley Face Commissions
Custom illustrations created in the Smiley Face style for approved uses such as personal projects, tattoo reference, or apparel.
Availability is limited. Style integrity and usage are reviewed carefully.
Art Commissions
Select fine art and canvas-based commissions created through the studio’s established process.
This category is highly selective and best suited for collectors who value process and timeline flexibility.
