Books by DonCarlos
Books carry a different kind of weight.
Not the kind you scroll past, the kind you sit with. The kind that stays on a shelf,
on a table, in your hands. The kind that remembers you.
Every book here began long before it had a title or a cover. Pages lived in sketchbooks,
in old memories, in the quiet corners of days that demanded more than a screen could hold. When something deserved permanence, I printed it.
This is the growing collection so far.
Each book its own chapter in a larger story.
Smiley Face Project — Season One
365 drawings. One per day. A full year of discipline captured in print.
This is the origin. The foundation of the universe I’ve been building.
Every drawing is intact: the easy ones, the stubborn ones, the surprises.
If you want to understand where this all began, start here.
My Hip Hop Story
A children’s book rooted in culture, rhythm and the neighborhoods that shaped us.
Created with my friend Gil Lara, this book tells a simple story with a familiar heartbeat. It found a home at
the Wynwood Walls Shop in Miami. A reminder that small stories can travel far.
Available in hardcover and paperback.
Heartless Lookbook
A quiet archive from the last decade. Artwork collected and printed to be held.
Thirty-eight pages of illustrations pulled from different seasons of my life.
A small book with a lot of history inside it.
Perfect for readers who like to move slowly and pay attention.
Why Print?
Books slow you down.
They ask you to sit with the work instead of rushing past it. They carry fingerprints, dog-ears, memories.
Things digital files never will.
If one of these books feels like it belongs with you, trust that feeling.
